Davenport Country Club was incorporated on February 1, 1924, as a country playground where families could enjoy all manner of recreational activities, most notably the fast-growing game of golf. Located on a bucolic, rolling expanse of former farmland on the bluffs above the Mississippi River in the far-eastern corner of Scott County, DCC today is one of the most highly regarded golf courses in the state of Iowa, the United States, and the world. As Davenport Country Club celebrates its centennial anniversary, its members and staff are pleased to share its colorful and eventful century of history forged by the men and women of DCC.
